but we enter icon territory with tomodachi life: fans have been yearning for a sequel to tomodachi life for years now AND WE FINALLY GOT IT. (actually there’s 3 more games, but i don’t think you’re interested in a walking simulator, a car game that only works in japan or a akb48 game)

there’s a good amount of kirby games to play on the 3DS. this is one of nintendo’s most creative franchises, with multiple refreshing takes on the gameplay experience and many different and unique stories that just give you that feeling of pure adventure and immersion. also kirby is just too cute to resist <3

the wario series belongs to the mario franchise, and i lumped wario platformers in the list of mario games, but i think the warioware games deserve their own corner because they stem away completely from the mario experience and they’re the ones who brought wario to popularity with their unique gameplay characterized by fast-paced madness and silly characters

known as mother in japan and earthbound everywhere else, this now over 30 years old one of a kind series revolutionized the rpg genre and continues to inspire indie creators. despite its rocky start, this series gained a cult following and is now considered a beloved classic, yet we STILL have to rely on the fan translation to play mother 3

every game of the ace attorney series can be played, including the japan-exclusive the great ace attorney games, which have been fan translated into english for us to enjoy, and the same goes for ace attorney investigations 2.

one funny thing about aai2 is that it has a built-in anti piracy system that changes every line of text into ace attorney’s made up language, borginian, which basically makes it unplayable (if you run into it, refer to the website linked to fix it)
